Hamonie Café & Restaurant

There's a new restaurant, located in an office building just outside Scarborough Town Centre. It's called Hamonie Café & Restaurant, and they specialize in breakfast, lunch, baked goods, and specialty coffees. They're literally just across the street from my uncle's condo so we just walked over to grab some lunch. We all had their Lentil Soup and it was quite good. My aunt and uncle opted for the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Tenders and Fries, while I had the special of the day, Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and Salad. The portions were generous and the flavours were very good. We also enjoyed a couple of their hot drinks and I ended up taking home one of their rich tasting brownies. Hamonie Cafe is an absolute gem. As a coffee shop enthusiast, Hamonie has truly become easily one of my favourite spots for coffee and a sweet treat. From the drinks, to the food, to the ambiance of the cafe, everything at Hamonie’s is perfect. What makes this place even better is the kind, friendly and welcoming owners, who take pride in providing quality service. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone who wants good food, great coffee and a comfortable place to hang out, get some work done or simply enjoy something delicious.

This small cafe was amazing! I had the vanilla iced latte, lemon cranberry muffin, and smash burger. All of them were sooo good! Burger was a must-have! The latte was made perfect and actually had a good amount of coffee, unlike other cafes that serve milk with a splash of coffee. The service was great and very fast plus the workers were extremely friendly! I'll be back again and I highly recommend this place!

Had the bacon, egg and cheese and the sausage, egg and cheese, they were THE BEST ONES IVE EVER HAD! perfectly cooked crispy bacon and sausage. Devon was a great host and even offered me a free iced matcha given i was hesitant to try it. a great spot to chill, go on a date and even bring your laptop to work quietly. will definitely be coming back!!

The sandwiches are absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and flavor combinations that really stand out. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to detail. And the coffee… just amazing! It has a rich, smooth flavor that pairs perfectly with any dish or treat. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or a quick midday break, this place is a must. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is always warm and friendly. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again!

The owners are so friendly and welcoming at Hamonie. Today was my second time coming here and they’re always so great. I got their cranberry lemon muffin, cheese croissant and sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich which was delicious and fresh. Their drink of the week was a Biscoff latte and I got it iced! It was enjoyable. I will say that it’s not very sweet, so I suggest if that is your preference to add a sweetener. Only downside is that I’m not able to come as often as I’d like as they close quite early. Besides that, I’m excited to see this place grow and I’m hoping for their success in the future. Will be coming back to try their daily deals.

We had Burger Combo and Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and Salad. The portions were generous and the flavours were very good. The burger combo came with a pop which replaced by hand drift coffee as our request with no extra cost. The only thing was I preferred there was more sauce in the Jerk Chicken. Would love to try the other special of Ox Tail and Curry Goat next time.

A family run cafe with a great selection of baked goods, breakfast combos, authentic carribean specials and hot/cold drinks! I would have a picture of the large and delicious corn muffin I had, but I ate it all! Located on the first floor, a must try for those living in the neighborhood or working in the area! A new hidden gem!
